Hestia is certified to the European standard EN 16647 by SGS, one of the world's leading inspection bodies. This standard governs stability, material strength, sealing, and burner design. Every requirement has been tested and validated, with a report to back it up. An independent check, not a self-declaration.
Steel engineered for the flame
The structure is made of steel with a precise minimum thickness, calculated to withstand the flame without warping or swelling over time. The finishes, matte lacquer or galvanized chrome, resist repeated lighting without blistering or yellowing. The burner is made of 304 stainless steel, the benchmark against corrosion and heat.
A burner designed with safety in mind
The burner is the heart of the product. A 1.5-litre tank filled with high-density wadding for complete, stable combustion. Its seal was specifically engineered and validated for certification, a critical point for an ethanol fireplace.
The sliding system smothers the flame by cutting off air, without ever passing your hand over the fire. The lighter and spatula keep you at a safe distance from the hearth, both when lighting and extinguishing it. The wide, weighted base prevents any tipping.
Tested, packaged, guaranteed
Before shipping, every aspect is put to the test: how well the finish holds up, the burner's seal, how well the packaging withstands transport. Your Hestia travels in custom-designed packaging, with a protective shell and double cardboard, to arrive intact at your door.
It comes with a 2-year warranty, burner included, and its wear parts remain available for purchase to extend its lifespan.
