Depending on the burner opening, a flame can last between 3 and 5 hours per refill. A smaller opening produces a lower flame and extends its burn time.

Lighting and extinguishing must be done with care. Hestia comes with a lighter and a spatula for handling the flame safely, at a proper distance from the hearth.

Like any open flame, Hestia must be used under supervision and in a ventilated room. It is certified to the European standard EN 16647 by SGS, dedicated to decorative ethanol-burning appliances.

Safety standards and usage recommendations

We recommend always following the instructions provided with Hestia. In particular, the burner must never be refilled while still hot.

The choice of fuel also matters. We recommend using a fireplace-grade bioethanol with a minimum purity of 95%. A slight alcohol smell may be noticeable when lighting. Once the flame is established, no lingering odour should remain with a suitable fuel.

Complete combustion in our burner allows you to enjoy a flame with no smoke or soot buildup under normal conditions of use.

At Maison Fondé, we designed Hestia to be as simple to use as possible. The fireplace is delivered with everything needed for assembly, and no special tools are required.

The tubes come with pre-fitted threaded connections. The different parts can therefore be assembled easily to form a stable structure, provided the fireplace is placed on a flat surface.

We also offer an augmented reality feature directly from the product pages. With the "See it in your home" button, you can view Hestia at true scale in your own space before ordering. This feature makes it easy to check its proportions, placement, and overall look in the room.

Maintenance stays simple. Regular surface cleaning and proper burner care help preserve the fireplace's appearance over time. There are no ashes or soot to clean up, unlike a traditional fireplace.

• Matte white, also in lacquered steel;
• Mirror-effect galvanized chrome, our signature finish.

Material also plays a role in Hestia's identity. The matte finishes are built on lacquered steel, while the Chrome version uses mirror-effect galvanized chrome.

Finally, tank capacity is an important factor in determining the desired burn time. With its 1.5-litre tank, Hestia offers between 3 and 5 hours of flame per refill, depending on the burner opening.
