OUR STORY

It started with a disappointment

Like many people, we'd fallen for those bioethanol fireplaces that bring a real flame into a living room, with no flue and no renovation work.

We bought one. And we quickly lost our enthusiasm. A timid flame, a cheap finish, an object that didn't live up to any of its promises.

An object that was designed, not copied

We didn't want a perfectly round dome, too smooth, with no character. We imagined an oval shape, fuller, more present. An object you enjoy looking at even when it's off.

The design was refined by hand, sketch after sketch, until we found the right line. Then it had to be made real, and that's where the real work began.

Two years of work

A single object, designed with no compromises

Creating a safe, accessible freestanding bioethanol fireplace takes longer than you'd imagine. Here's the journey.

The heart of the product: a professional-grade burner.

It's the most demanding part, and the most important for safety. 304 stainless steel, a 1.5-litre tank filled with high-quality wadding for complete combustion. The burner's seal was carefully engineered, a critical point validated in the lab for SGS certification. The steel meets a precise minimum thickness, so it doesn't swell under heat. The safety and brand markings are laser-engraved, to last over time. And the sliding extinguishing system, developed with an entire team, was designed to put out the flame without ever having to pass your hand over it.
