Materials and finishes of the freestanding bioethanol fireplace
At Maison Fondé, we pay close attention to Hestia's materials and finishes. The structure is available in lacquered steel for the matte black and matte white versions, while the Chrome finish uses mirror-effect galvanised chrome.

The burner is made from 304 stainless steel. With its 1.5-litre tank, Hestia offers a burn time of 3 to 5 hours, depending on the burner opening.

Using a freestanding bioethanol fireplace comes down to a few simple steps. Hestia runs on fireplace-grade bioethanol with a minimum purity of 95%. Refilling should always be done while the burner is cold, and in accordance with the recommendations provided with the product.
For lighting and extinguishing, Hestia comes with the necessary accessories, including a lighting rod and a snuffer for handling the flame at a safe distance from the hearth.
Under normal conditions of use, complete combustion produces no smoke or soot. A slight alcohol smell may be noticeable when lighting, before disappearing once combustion is established.
Maintenance stays limited. Surfaces can be cleaned with a soft cloth, and the burner should be checked regularly to keep it in good condition.
Precautions to take when using it
